What subjects did you receive tutoring from Apex Tuition Australia?
I received tutoring for IB Biology HL, IB Chemistry HL and IB Language and Literature HL
Why did you apply to get tutoring?
For Biology I was worried about covering such a large load of content, for Chemistry I felt that I wasn't receiving adequate support from school and English was something that I had been struggling with especially when I began IB.
What did you do in your tutoring sessions?
I had really positive experiences with both of my tutors. They both were engaged in sessions and motivated to teach which consequently made me feel more engaged and motivated to learn.
Did you see any improvements?
For Biology I went from getting 5s and 6s in year 11 to a 7 in my final exam. For English I went from 5s in year 11 to a 7 in my final exam. Chemistry I was doing fairly well in but thanks to the additional support from Apex Tuition Australia I was able to maintain solid grades throughout year 11 and 12, with a 7 in my final exam.
Were you satisfied with your tutor?
I would rate my experience with Apex Tuition Australia a 9/10, the tutors were organised and really easy to communicate with during and after lessons. Ultimately they also helped my achieve my goals and get into my dream course. Tutoring with Apex Tuition Australia allowed me to improve my understanding of tricky concepts and allowed me to focus on areas I was struggling with. This flexibility was what allowed me to see improvements in my subjects.
