Rates depend on two things: whether you choose an Academic Tutor or a Professional Tutor, and your child's year level, with senior years priced separately from Year 10 and below. Current rates are listed on this page.

No. There are no lock-in contracts with Apex, so you can adjust the number of sessions or stop them as your child's needs change. Sessions are organised directly with your tutor after we match you, which means changing the schedule is a conversation with them rather than a contract change. Academic Tutors are high-achieving recent school or university graduates, screened for their teaching and communication skills; we accept only the top 3% of applicants. Professional Tutors are qualified teachers and highly experienced tutors.

Yes. Discounts are available when you purchase a package of lessons. Mention it in your parent and student application and an Operations Manager will explain the options.

Yes. Every Apex tutor must provide a valid Working With Children Check for their state as part of onboarding.
