Jayden is a second-year Data Science and Decisions student at UNSW with a strong foundation in mathematics. During high school, he completed Mathematics Advanced as an accelerated subject a year early, achieving a study score of 95 and ranking first in both the Year 11 and Year 12 cohorts. Further, in year 12 he scored 93 in Mathematics Extension 1 and 92 in Mathematics Extension 2 for the HSC, coming top 5 and top 10 respeectively, in school rankings. Jayden brings over two years of private tutoring experience, preparing students for Selective, OC, and HSC examinations in both one-on-one and small group settings of up to four. He has also spent over a year and a half tutoring mathematics to Years 7–12 students through Cluey Learning (online tutoring service) and has worked in person with S.A.M Tutoring, teaching mathematics to primary school students in groups of up to eight. Jayden's teaching style is built on patient and rapport. He takes the time to genuinely connect with his students and make sure they feel comfortable asking questions. He prioritises thorough understanding of each concept before moving on and breaks down and explains questions creatively in a way that sticks with the student. Furthermore, from years of tutoring experience, he believes that exposing students to a diverse range of questions is the most effective way to boost academic growth.
