Mithilesh V - IB Physics Tutor

Mithilesh Velu was educated at Anglo-Chinese Independent. He achieved a score of 42 in the IB Diploma exams. He also scored 7 in Math AA HL, Physics HL and Chemistry HL. An undergraduate at Monash University Australia, he is undergoing the Medicine Programme. Specialising in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Medicine Interview Prepping in both GCSE and IB levels, he has taught over 50 students from in both Singapore and Australia IB programme. Having first-hand experience in the IB Programme, he offers insightful first-hand experience and a strong understanding of the IB rubric. He believes that students learn best when they learn through active recall and from their mistakes during practise, and not just by re-reading their notes. He structures his class by going through the content and then testing the student using conceptual questions and past year papers as the exam gets nearer. He also identifies the students' weaker topics, and makes a weekly effort to weave those questions into practise during lessons. Many of his students gave excellent feedback on his caring and calm demeanour with his ability to explain the content and questions in a way that the student understands best. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and going to the gym.
