Stephen graduated from the International Baccalaureate with a score of 44/45, equivalent to a 99.75 ATAR. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and is in his final of year of the Juris Doctor at the University of Sydney, where he has achieved a Distinction average. Stephen has more than eight years of tutoring experience, beginning while he was still in high school. He tutors IB Mathematics, Economics, History and English Literature, and understands firsthand what is required to succeed in the IB. Alongside his studies, Stephen has gained professional experience in finance and law in Sydney, London and New York, including roles at Goldman Sachs, the ASX and MinterEllison. He has also written articles that have been published in major Australian newspapers including The Australian. Stephen is an encouraging and adaptable tutor who explains difficult concepts clearly, tailors lessons to each student’s needs and focuses on building both confidence and strong exam technique.
