Mazen is currently a Griffith medical school student. After getting accepted into multiple medical schools, such as UQ, Griffith, UWA, and more, he has chosen Griffith as his medical school for the next 4 years. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a BS in Biological Sciences (with the highest achievable GPA in the USA: 4.0, the equivalent of a 7.0 GPA in Australia). That resulted in him getting the highest distinction at his university: the Summa Cum Laude. He has tutored university students during his 4 years at the University of Arizona, where he worked alongside university professors to ensure that the students are understanding the material clearly. He has also tutored many students in Australia, from primary up to university level students. He finished his Year 12 abroad with 100's in all the classes at his school. In addition, he achieved an SAT (the American College Admission Exam) score, which put him in the 99th percentile worldwide. He loves teaching the main science subjects and math since they are the ones most relevant to his major, and they are also the ones that he'll be able to explain in the best possible way. He has a great way of understanding academic material that helps simplify complex ideas. In addition, he focuses more on how to get to the idea, rather than just stating it. This thinking process has helped him achieve the highest possible grades at the University of Arizona, and it can help you out too!
