Nicholas D - QCE Biology Tutor

Nick graduated from high school in 2022 with an ATAR of 97.10 and was a recipient of the 2022 Queensland Certificate of Academic Commendation. He achieved very strong results across his senior subjects, including: 93 in Mathematical Methods, 88 in Biology, 87 in Chemistry, and 86 in Physics. Nick is currently studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of Queensland, majoring in Biomedical Science with a minor in Applied Mathematics. His university studies have further developed his knowledge across biology, chemistry, mathematics, physiology and biomedical sciences, allowing him to help students not only understand their current coursework but also see how these concepts build into more advanced study. As a tutor, Nick aims to make challenging concepts clear and approachable by breaking them down step-by-step and adapting his explanations to the individual student. He focuses on developing genuine understanding rather than simply memorising answers, while also helping students improve their problem-solving skills, confidence and approach to exams and assessment. He is capable and excited to tutor all year levels in: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics.
