Ian Alexander Has a bachelor of Science degree and initially worked as an electron microscope technician that was based at Monash Immunology researching skin cancer. I went from there to Tasmania working in nephrology and then at Monash Physiology as a histology technician. I was offered a scholarship to become a teache4r and then was offered a job at Haileybury as a senior biology teacher, which I carried out for 37 years. I have watched many students graduate, some getting 50 in my biology class and most performing above the controversial GAT predicted score. I have tutored, lectured, assessed and written outside of school hours and continue to do so in my retirement.
Our tutors go through a rigorous selection process. Each one is interviewed to assess their teaching ability, completes a test of their VCE subject knowledge, and have a valid WWCC. They bring extensive VCE tutoring experience and a proven track record of helping students achieve their academic goals
