Thomas graduated from St Stephen's School Duncraig in 2023, receiving the Academic Dux, and achieving first place in Mathematics: Methods ATAR, Mathematics: Specialist ATAR, and Physics ATAR. Thomas attained an impressive ATAR score of 99.1, as well as high scores in the subjects he scored first place in, with a combined score of 92.3% for Maths Methods, 90.4% for Physics, and 82.9% for Maths Specialist. Thomas is passionate about Maths and Science, and has always enjoyed talking about and explaining elements of these subjects to other people, and so tutoring is a natural way for him to apply this skill. Thomas ensures that his students don't just rote learn the surface level knowledge of the curriculum, but understand the learning areas at a deeper level, as he believes this leads to a far stronger intuition and adaptability in that subject than otherwise.
