As a tutor, she provides targeted supports that builds both skills and confidence. Recognizing students learn in different ways she uses a range of methods, explanations and pathways to facilitate understanding providing opportunities to revisit, revise and consolidate concepts. Providing both appropriate challenge alongside support and scaffolding. Students are encouraged to have a voice in their learning, to share ideas, explain their thinking, ask questions and to take risks in their learning. Her aim is that each student will leave a tutoring session feeling they have made progress and are on the pathway towards success.
