Who Are the Professional Tutors?
Our professional tutors are highly sought after and bring years of experience. You can feel comfortable that in your tutoring session you will be getting expert help.
At Apex Tuition Australia, we have included two different types of tutors in this tier:

Qualified teachers
These are long-tenured, fully qualified Australian teachers who have spent years, if not decades, working in classrooms across the country. Each holds formal teaching degrees and relevant state certifications (e.g. VIT, NESA, QCT), and has taught the Australian curriculum at scale.

How Do We Select Professional Tier?
We have a dedicated recruitment team who spend all day sourcing the best teachers and tutors from across Australia. On a given week we are speaking with 100+ candidates and evaluating whether or not they are good enough for Apex Tuition Australia.
Once we invite a tutor to apply, we have a team that reviews their application which includes the resume and and evidence of their teaching experience. After that all tutors go through an interview where they are assessed on their communication and interpersonal skills. We place a high priority for our teachers to be able to connect with students.
Lastly, once tutors are on-boarded we ensure all tutors have a valid Working With Children Check before they can do any tutoring with Apex Tuition Australia.

Pricing for the Professional Tier
Due to the increased experience of the professional tutoring it is more expensive than our academic tutors.
For students in Year 10 or below, the prices are:
- $95 per hour for online tutoring
- $105 per hour for in-person tutoring
For students in Year 11 and 12 or completed any VCE, HSC, SACE, WACE, QCE or IB subjects, or for students getting post-school tutoring (university) or additional tutoring (SAT, IELTS, GAMSAT, UMAT, Selective entry schools) the prices are:
- $110 per hour for online tutoring
- $120 per hour for in-person tutoring
