📌 In South Australia, there's no replacement public holiday when ANZAC Day falls on a weekend, so Monday 26 April is a normal school day and the first day of Term 2.
What's Different About 2027?
- Easter falls during Term 1. Good Friday (26 March) and Easter Monday (29 March) are public holidays in the middle of Term 1, which runs until 9 April.
- Term 1 has three public holidays. Adelaide Cup Day (8 March), Good Friday and Easter Monday all fall during term.
- Labour Day falls in the spring holidays. Monday 4 October is during the spring break, which runs until 10 October.
- A longer summer break. Term 4 finishes on Friday 10 December, and the 2028 school year doesn't begin until Monday 31 January, about a week later than the 2027 start date.
